Re-encode a browser-decodable MP4, MOV, WebM, or M4V clip as WebM. Choose a video bitrate; clips are limited to five minutes, and browser codec support varies.

How to use this tool

  1. Select one MP4, MOV, WebM, or M4V clip that your browser can play.
  2. Adjust the output bitrate between 0.5 and 4 Mbps.
  3. Choose Process files; download is offered only if the generated WebM passes playback verification.

Video tools require browser decoding and WebM encoding support (MediaRecorder). They accept clips up to 5 minutes and output WebM. Supported source codecs vary by browser and device.
