In this MVP, ready tools process files in your browser. Velfile does not upload files to a processing server.
What happens to a file?
Choosing a file gives this page a local browser File handle. Processing reads it in the browser using browser capabilities and installed client-side libraries. Results are generated in your browser and downloaded when you choose.
This describes file contents, not ordinary website traffic. Your browser still requests the site pages and assets from the host.
What this means today
- No account or sign-in is needed.
- Files are not sent to Velfile servers by the ready tools.
- Leaving or refreshing the page clears the app's selected-file state; downloaded copies remain under your control.
- Some file types depend on browser support, available memory, and device performance.
What is not included
This MVP has no server-side processing, account system, or file-retention service. Tools marked in development do not accept or process files. If server processing is added later, this page must be updated before those tools launch.
